On project basis. Developing and assembling interactive components for digital signage. At the moment needed: 1. To start the laptop on power on. The device have to connect power button contacts for a second when AC adapter (20v 5A) is plugged in. 2. The device to connect capacitive sensors: [login to view URL] Needs to be connected to PC via USB and recognized as a keyboard. 6 sensors will be connected. The device will translate the signal from the sensors to keyboard buttons (0-5).

This could be made possible by PIC micro controller easily. It will act as a HID device and PC/Laptop will understand the device as a keyboard. I think a little more discussion is needed, because some PIC micro controller does have inbuilt capacitive touch sensing features already so once I know the full details about how and where you will use this device and for what purpose then I can suggest you the best and compact solution. Hi there, I'm a senior electronic engineer/designer/developer, doing designs & developments for over the last 30 years. I think I can make what you need, since I believe it's not for a mass production (but repeat production possible), no need to built from the scratch. The longest time needed (about 1 week) is to produce the PCB fabrication (the design will be done by myself) because it will be outsourced to the factory, get into their order queueu. Excluding that time of process, I only need 3 days.
