Statistical data analysis in excel - need formulas for best result

Let me first state, I will effectively do this in Excel b/c that's where your data is; however, I would like to modify that by saying I will read your Excel, but do the computations in Mathematica. I plan to use Mathematica's Machine Learning algorithms. I'll access as many as I can in the given time and as they apply and you will be able to determine which ones perform well by running simulations by partitioning part of your historical data into known and unknown outcomes for the sake of experimentation. I will provide you with a GUI; in particular, you will need Wolfram's CDF Player and you will have access to my code. This should be considered more as research if you employ me. I cannot make any guarantees; I can only say that I will provide several different data combinations to the algorithms and let the algorithms yield their results and see if they're consistent. There is no way of knowing at the outset whether that approach will work, but I expect some degree of resultant insight. Though experimental, I also think it will be useful and possibly practical (the latter will only be known by running the simulations, which happen near the end). I could look at your data in a preliminary phase (take a day or two) to see if there is any promise, and we can do this prior to accepting the project. Thanks for reading. -Don
