Season standings would be pretty easy, of course. But I'm thinking about something like pitcher or batter leaders... after a game, someone would have to enter detailed data about the game, no? I work as a webmaster on a few WordPress sites, and have experience in producing customisation of WordPress. I believe I can help you with your project efficiently and effectively. Have you already chosen a WP Theme? That might be the first thing, as there are many themes available and some are free. The second question has to do with how you are keeping statistics. Are you keeping them separately from the website and posting only results? Do you want to do this as individual categorised posts, or as new pages week by week? Disabling comments is easy to do within WP, as it can act as a "static" site content management system. I would also be happy to continue to act as webmaster for the life of the site if that were helpful. I hope that these questions show I have experience of WP and web publishing, and that I would be very happy to work with you for your amateur league.
