The project must be done in Visual Studio 2013 / ASP.Net / C#.
Most important skills for this project are:
to demostrate Asp.Net Sessions
to demostrate Asp.Net Cookies
to demostrate Asp.Net Config files
*Images as an example are provided.
Note: Developer should decide if using one or more cookies work better for this site.
01_First page name: 'Login' (it does not use masterpage)
User type his name an password, have a “Keep me logged in” checkbox.
Textbox: 'user'
Textbox: 'password'
Checkbox:' 'keep me logged in'
Button: 'login'
Functionalities:
1. a file (a cookie, a file or several files) should be saved with current logged in username, this file should be saved in user machine/computer, for further usage.
02_Masterpage (delivered by me as example)
Projects are loaded into a dropdownlist from a query to a tblProject table that contains:
Id: data_type: integer
Project_name: data_type: string
Creation_date_start: data_type: datetime (DD-MM-YYYY HH-mm-ss) (“From:”)
Creation_date_end: data_type: datetime (DD-MM-YYYY HH-mm-ss) (“To:”)
Project_owner: data_type: string
Now, another file (or cookie), should be saved with the following information:
All projects listed in the dropdownlist
User select a Project from the dropdownlist. Optionally, the user select dates “To” and “From“ (to filter the results for documents creation date):
Controls are:
dropdownlist with 20 projects (SGDOC, TEST, QA, AECC, ANXDO, SGDOC1, TEST1, QA1 AECC1, ANXDO1, SGDOC2, TEST2, QA2, AECC2, ANXDO2, SGDOC3, TEST3, QA3, AECC3, ANXDO3)
textbox + calendar: 'From'
textbox + calendar: 'To'
Reports menu (6 hidden button to 'Reports')
button: 'Execute'
button: 'Logoff'
link button: 'Update' (run the ‘Projects’ query to fullfill the cookie)
Funcionalities
1- default session must be 10 hours
2- If user checked "Keep me logged in", session must be infinite
3- 'Logout' button terminate the sesión
Note: There is a list of buttons that points to ‘Project reports’ but those are hidden while user does not clicks on ‘Execute’ button.
See ‘[login to view URL]’ file
If user clicks the ‘Execute’ buton, the masterpage should:
1- Unhide the ‘Project reports’ list
2- Displays a text with:
a. Current logged in user
b. All Project list
See ‘[login to view URL]’ file
03_Content page name: 'Reports' (it corresponds to the 6 unhiden reports)
Once the user have selected a ‘Project’, a ‘From’ date, a ‘To’ date, and finally click in one of the 6 reports on the list, a query tha will display the result in a gridview.
See ‘[login to view URL]’ file
