Here is my idea: I want a designer looking dog collar, where you start with a basic design, and can later play with it with DIY options, such as pendants or somekind. My purpose is to design a unique DIY dog collar with its matching or DIY pandants can ONLY be going along with my collar, just like how "PANDORA" is designing their jeweries, THAT, you can ONLY buy its pendants from pandora to go with its matching bracelet. In today's pet accessories market, customers can ONLY DIY their pet names on laser tag or customize on collar itself. BUT customers CAN’T customize pet collars on their own or change the accessories.. so I want to design a dog collar where the customers can purchase pendants separately to go with the basic collar, but the basic collar is also designer looking with or without pendants. The idea of this design is to increase buyers retention of buying accessories for their dogs, not just collar itself. My purpose is to make the collar unique and easy for buyers to change pendant by themself. e.g. LV has the basic pattern " Monogram" which went viral. They made changes based on monogram pattern, such as painting or changing colors and so forth. My target customers are young people that likes to take instagram pictures of their dogs and love fashionable things, and love decorating their dogs. Most designer dog collar and leash are TOO expensive or TOO boring…. I think dogs deserves better. Also, I know that decorative dog collar exists in today’s word where people copy designers brand idea and put on their own( replica idea), but that’s not what I wanna do…. My future purpose is to design a designer and fashionable looking dog collar with simple designs, b/c you can easily play around with the basic simple design pattern later if anything changes, such as any other designers doing. They create their iconic logo and pattern, that when you see it, you know right away what the brand is.. that’s what I want to create, BUT FOR PETS… and I don’t want to make it too expensive. So I feel like the market needs a dog branding design shop. So I’m now starting with ONE collar to put out on the market with pendants or aside DIY accessories to attach onto the collar yourself.. this is just an initial idea. I need to put it into real product. Hopefully you will like it and can really help me with drawing my ideas out.
