Require an interactive search using, svg, jquery to find locations on a svg map.
I already have several code snippets to pan, drag and zoom the map as well as zoom to a specific area of the svg given the id of the element, some of this is new code as well as code that requires to be changed as used adobe svg plugin before with embedded svg, this has to be changed to work in html 5, webkit, mozilla browsers and IE9.
How it works:
There is a list to the side with names on it, clicking on a name will zoom into the area (the area will be a shape with a number inside it), for now it will just be polygons (an svg will be supplied) it would be good to introduce the html slider to zoom in and out (bit like google maps)
When zoomed into the location, an additional graphic will need to be attached above the text (svg shape) this will look the same as when say for example searching for restaurants in google maps and you get a location marker on the map.
The additional svg graphic will be a button with the name in the list, this svg graphic will be a button, when clicked will pop up a modal dialog (at the moment to be empty).
This is a prototype at the moment using bits of code and svg that have previously been coded & obtained from various resources, it need to be put together with the added functionality described above.
It needs to be light and fast at this stage, it also requires (if achievable) to have a spinny timer graphic when loading the svg (the actual production file will be svgz (compressed svg) which can be supplied.
Graphics and look do not matter at the moment and a skeleton layout of the page will be supplied as well as the code already done and svg file.
Many Thanks.

I can do this... i have a lot experience with jQuery solving problems with different sides of plugins, core even making integration with jQuery and others. I'm interested... look for Brazil!
