Hello everyone my name is Stuart and earlier this year I created a financial planning business in Melbourne Australia. I have a site that has been well designed by a company here in Oz but would like someone on a long term basis who is able to consistently keep my site ranking well for particular keywords. My understanding is that some of the key words and phrases I would need to rank well for are quite competitive so I would need someone who knows how to best rank a site well and keep me on the first page of Google for some of the main services I provide. The selected person/company would also need to help identify which words would work well and continue to build up further credibility. I want to be absolutely clear that I do not want any black hat seo that could jeopardise my website. I am understanding if it takes some time to rank well and I would like the person to be able to communicate with me and explain exactly what they are doing to help boost my search rankings. My service is pretty much limited to clients in Australia so I do not need traffic from other parts around in the world just Australia - I would need to rank on [login to view URL] & google.com. Ideally I would like to be able to be shown some evidence from the successful bidder about previous successful projects they have been apart of also. Looking at what is required, I believe that we need to concentrate on the following: 1. Carrying out initial keyword and competitive research. We'll want to identify the keywords that will lead to sales for your business. 2. On-site optimisation. I would suggest that we should carry out a full on-site SEO audit at the outset. That way, we can identify issues and correct them at an early stage. We may well want to add new content to the site at this point. 3.
