Hi there, I'm Matt Sergei (please call me Matt) and can implement your animation (25 years a webmaster and IT pro, web animations/visualizations for 7+ years). I've checked your images and understand the requirements. Here's your web page idea: 1. A folder script that will maintain the images index up to 400 images. It will be done using server side scripting language - intend to use PHP. 2. The script in (1) will calculate new randomly selected position from available free mosaic slots (remaining of 400). It will do that by respecting saved used mosaic slots from previous images. Then it will add the new image slot location (just a number from 1 to 400) with its filename to a file (database? Not needed). 3. The javascript code on page will zoom in the new image (temporarily changing opacity of existing mosaic), wait for 5 seconds and then zoom out and move an image to a mosaic slot calculated in (2). The process will repeat till mosaic gets filled to a predefined number (400). Questions: a) a mosaic grid (dimensions) would need to be determined. Should the grid size adapt to user's web browser resolution? Based on above the width and height of displayed images should be calculated to show them all - and recalculate on browser resize event. b) I intend to use GreenSock javascript animation library (131 K).
