Lawyer needed for tenant not getting deposit back

A) have not received deposit as it has gone over 21 days & counting. We moved out July 25th. B) Final Walk-through checklist with manager: everything was perfect except for some weeds in the yard. C) we have Pictures of us maintaining yard and neighbors saw us in the front yard maintaining. Pictures of how yard looked like during move-in date. D) We never got an exact quote for cutting or trimming grass or getting rid of weeds till after 21 days of vacating property. E) The quote is “over $10,000” and so I’m wondering why am I being charged for a complete make-over of his yard especially when neighbor say he’s prepping house for sale. So now I’m concerned about my deposit for being used for a complete makeover or concerned that I might not see my deposit back. F) Owner owes us $500 also ontop of deposit for fire alarms and bills in his mailbox I paid before me moving in so as to prevent my water being shut down the day I moved in.
