Hi,
I have 2 test files that I need to sort with the same command.
File 1: [login to view URL]
The command I'm using is:
cat [login to view URL] | awk '{print $2}' | cut -d '/' -f 3 | cut -d '^' -f 1 | sort -b -t . -k 1,1nr -k 2,2nr -k 3,3r -k 4,4r -k 5,5r | uniq > [login to view URL]
cat [login to view URL] | awk '{print $2}' | cut -d '/' -f 3 | cut -d '^' -f 1 | sort -b -t . -k 1,1nr -k 2,2nr -k 3,3r -k 4,4r -k 5,5r | uniq > [login to view URL]
ISSUE:
I need to sort CORRECTLY in descending order, because right now, only file 2 is sorting correctly, but file 1 is not sorting correctly.
I need that both files should sort correctly, in descending order.

Hello,
I work as a Linux/Unix system administrator for the past 10 years and have all the necessary skills and hands-on experience to complete the task.
Hope to hear from you soon.
I've already done this. I've downloaded the files and fixed the commands. My commands will fix couple of issues in sorting of file 2 as well. Can provide the fixes as soon as you award me the project. Took me one hour, so the cost would be $15.

Extensive linux user. Will easily be able to solve your doubts. This shouldn't take more than an hour, though I've said two, just in case. Take me, and I'll do it!
Hi. I would like to help you with that. Like bash scripts with awk usage. It looks like something wrong with sort usage. I don't think it will take much time.
Regards.
