Simply supported beam - Matlab

This activity consists of carrying out a program that allows evaluating the Mohr circle at a specified point of a Simply Supported Beam type element, at a specific height of the section and allowing it to be rotated by a desired angle. For this, the program must consider a beam made of THREE materials in type I section and heights and thicknesses specified by the user. • It must be programmed in Matlab code. • Should be applicable to any Simply Supported beam. The beam must have one ascending and one descending triangular load, one rectangular load, two point loads and at least one bending moment. • Diagrams of shear, moment, rotation and vertical deflection of the selected beam must be included. • Graphs of axial and shear forces must be included in the element. • The Mohr circle graph should have the stress states clearly represented and the stress rotated. Esta actividad consiste en realizar un programa que permita evaluar el circulo de Mohr en un especificado punto de un elemento tipo Viga Simplemente apoyado, en una altura de la sección especifica y permita rotarlo un ángulo deseado. Para esto el programa debe considerar una viga de TRES materiales en sección tipo I y alturas y espesores especificados por el usuario. • Debe ser programado en código de Matlab. • Debe ser aplicable a cualquier viga Simplemente apoyada. La viga debe contar con una carga triangular ascendente y una descendente, una carga rectangular, dos puntuales y un momento flector como mínimo. • Se deberá incluir diagramas de cortante, momento, giro y deflexión vertical de la viga seleccionada. • Se deberá incluir gráficos de esfuerzos axiales y cortantes en el elemento. • La grafica del círculo de Mohr debe contar con los estados de esfuerzos representados claramente y el esfuerzo rotado.
