Organization: Children's Wishes Website: [login to view URL] Development Idea: Our Wish journey began over two decades ago. As the sibling of a Wish Kid and as volunteers, we recognized the inherent power and magic of a Wish. We all witnessed firsthand how the Wish experience gave families a brief respite from the illnesses and medical challenges they encountered but, while the memories created would last a lifetime, each Wish Family’s journey didn’t end with the Wish itself. Founded in 2009, Children’s Wishes goal is to provide Rhode Island children with amazing Wish experiences while assisting their families with continued support beyond the Wish. The organization was built on the commitment to serve our Wish children and their families with love, honor, dedication and respect. Children’s Wishes extended network of Wish Families, past and present, strengthen our commitment to serve and we are humbled & privileged to share this journey together. We are looking to develop an all encompassing app to install on tablets, and allow our Wish Families to install on their devices that would provide resources, access, games, and support for our families, kids, and supporters. It would need an Admin Access, User Access, and "Supporter Staff" Access. Will need to meet the standards for the Apple and Android App Stores. Will need advice or assistance on hosting platform and server hosting. Roles: Admin - Would need access to all functions, be able to add users, remove users, see chat functions, manage donors and financial processing, be able to turn on and off features etc. Supporter Staff - Have controllable access to certain back end attributes to the platform - like assignable chat functions, donors, etc. User Acces - Front facing "customer", no access to back end info App Concept: Features: Start by allowing user to create their own Avatar Games: Blake's Kitchen - A kids cooking game, simple, make a few different recipe options? On Par Golf - A kids golfing game - 2-3 golf courses to start, simple 18 whole golf game Brynn's Closet - A kids dress up/fashion game where can dress up their avatar in different costumes, outfits, fashion etc. Chat: Have a chat feature, where each "User" will be assigned a "Support Staff" and they can chat, ask for advice on treatment, etc. A video chat feature would also be good to have. Donate: Be able to purchase tickets to upcoming events, donate at events, provide a spot to have auction/raffle items listed for people to participate in Videos: A spot where the collection of weekly updated "TV" show segments created by the organization can be listed in order, and also broken down by category for the user to view Disclaimer: We recognize this may/will be apart of a multi-phase process. We will want to continue support and changes as this grows and develops over the next 24-36 months. Winning Bid will need to sign a Non-Disclosure and sign over all rights and access to the app. We are open to suggestions, changes, developments etc, the attached concept photo is just for initial concept purposes only and is by no means the brand guidelines that must be followed.
