Realtime Table Update

I need a sorted table built with ranks 1 to X where rank number 1 is always at the top but the data changes dynamically based on values from the database. So for example based on a user doing a post which updates a database the table on the webpage should update if that new post pushes the user up the leaderboard ranking tables. This should be developed with PHP codeigniter, and [login to view URL] for the real-time updates anything else you need please go ahead. But the table may have 5 or more columns but for example can do 5 if 2 users have the same amount then the one who got the updates in first should be ranked higher so use microtime to capture the order in this situation. So to reiterate.. user makes 6 posts then this value of 6 is recorded a user makes 7 posts then they go to the top of the leader board and so on and so fourth, the leaderboard must update dynamically as soon as a user makes an update rows move up and down or with row background colour changing to reflect movement up in green or movement down in red.
