I've worked with nearly every SQL database over 14 years and I've done installations, migrations, written code, queries, admin, performance, and all that. Porting a DB to another is pretty easy. I'm a little busy today but I could do it tomorrow.

I will need FreeTDS driver to be installed on the Linux server to connect MSSQL server. I think it is the only requirement.
