SQL server cache (memcache or any other)

Hi, We developing social application (ex: facebook and twitter) in .net framework. We need one senior person assistance having experience in sql cache server. In our application every user will get different updates using same SP when new update enter by his friends. We need when user open home page first we need to get results from DB if same person tries open home page again then we need to send this from cache. If any new update add add into his related table then only we need to send request to DB to retrieve that particular update from DB. Hope you understand my requirements.
