Cross Browser Compatibility Testing

We need a Perl web developer with AJAX experience to improve the cross browser compatibility of our site. This would include testing each component of the site in various web browsers and ensuring correct operation and display. The current site has been verified to correctly work in Firefox and other Gecko based browsers. However, there are known issues with Internet Explorer 6 and 7. The project would consist of: 1. Creating a browser test matrix for each page. 2. Testing each page in different browsers. a. Firefox 2 (Windows) b. Firefox 3 (Windows) c. Internet Explorer 5.5 d. Internet Explorer 6 e. Internet Explorer 7 f. Safari 3 (Mac) 3. Fixing anomalies, display issues and Javascript error messages. The core of the system is written in Perl for mod_perl2/Apache 2 platform. Because of this, much of the HTML, CSS and Javascript is embedded in Perl code. The system is fully documented using Perldoc and you should be familiar with working with and modifying the documentation if necessary. The code is kept in a Perforce repository, so some experience with Perforce or other SCM system is preferable.
