We have two different databases 1. MYSQL invoice database 2. web based MYSQL Shop database. Whenever a customer orders online, his data will first be stored in the web based data base (WBDB) and then be downloaded to our invoicing program. The program we need has to do the following: Upon entering the invoice no., the program retrieves data from the local invoice database (LIDB). It checks whether or not the invoice was based on a online sale (shop # yes/no). Then, the cursor jumps from the Invoice # field to the package # field, where the TT # of the parcel has to be entered. If the customer has provided an email address, an email will be send to the customer, notifying him that his parcel has been sent. Then, the parcel # will be stored in the LIDB. If it was a online order, the parcel # has also to be stored in the WBDB. So, the program is meant to be a simple track and trace information tool for customer service.
