Script Installation and vps Setting up

Requirements: * Perl > 5.005 ver. [[login to view URL]] * LWP, DBI, DBD::mysql, CGI, Digest::SHA, JSON, LWP::Protocol::https Perl modules * MySQL database >= 4.1 ver. [[login to view URL]] * Apache mod_rewrite module, mod_headers module (optional) * .htaccess files enabled [[login to view URL]] You can install required perl modules through SSH console manually: 1. YUM way (recommended) yum install [login to view URL] perl-DBI perl-DBD-MySQL perl-CGI perl-Digest-SHA perl-JSON 2. CPAN way perl -MCPAN -e shell install LWP install DBI install DBD::mysql install CGI install Digest::SHA install JSON install LWP::Protocol::https *** Install instructions *** 1) Copy all files and folders from "cgi-bin" into your cgi-bin folder (folder where perl scripts running) Copy all files and folders from "htdocs" into your htdocs (public_html) folder (folder with HTML files) 2) Set [login to view URL] permissions to 755. Then open it in your browser (e.g. [login to view URL]) Follow installer instructions until all installation steps will be OK. 3) IMPORTANT: Add [login to view URL] to your server crontab. It should be executed every minute. Note, you need to "cd" to the "cgi-bin" folder first, then execute process_tasks.pl. Example: * * * * * cd /var/www/cgi-bin; perl [login to view URL] >/dev/null 2>&1 Note that you will have to replace "/var/www/cgi-bin" with the correct path on your server. 4) Now you can access your site through url: [login to view URL] You can go to the "Site Settings" and set up your service configuration.
