PLEASE DO NOT bid if you do not understand what *feathering* is. Also if you compress the photos at all you will be forcing me to redo it myself** *****I HIGHLY recommend you use Vertus Fluid Mask software to do this job. If you use this software please describe the basic process of using Fluid Mask (how you would use the tools etc.) in your bid and you will be a priority!!***** ***I should not have to teach you how to do this either*** We are a new company needing to trial some new freelancers for masking work. New company, however we are poised for growth, may even lead to a permanent "per image" job. Payment is highly flexible. ====About Us and Why we Need Your Help!==== We are a small firm specializing in providing hires for energy drink companies, mostly startups. Our goal is to facilitate the "shaking of hands" between opposite ends fighting for a mutual goal: employers looking for hires but wanting to focus every last bit on energy on their products, and job seekers shouting as loud as they can for employers to notice them. We vet potential hires, and organize the presentation of these hires to employers in two ways: 1. via a streamlined database and 2. through physical media, structured on ratings, 1-10, and employee self-description, qualifications etc. Soon, we will be posting for jobs for #1 (see above). Right now, we're doing trials with #2 as that's more of an immediate test-->result. More specifically you will be focusing on the photos we send along with the documents/details in #2 above, as energy drink marketing is technically a "modelling" occupation photos are HUGELY important. The end result of your work could tip another person's chances for/against their favor. ===Details of the Job==== Now, the job is very simple. All you need to do is masking. We will be providing you with a copy of our affiliate's software to do the masking. *we HIGHLY recommend* you do it how we tell you. So let me break this down into steps 1..2...3 etc: 0. Before doing anything we will send a couple photos of "before/after" so you understand what we need and chat about the aforementioned software etc 1. We send you photos (at first probably through dropbox etc, eventually you'll auto-receive them through ftp) 2. You crop them then mask them (if you like the work, eventually we will add $ for you to "color fix" the pics) 3. You send them back to us ===Price=== Right now we have just under 40 photos. Maybe less, maybe more. We also will have around 60-100 more images tomorrow! Our pricing is based on what we considered to be a "fair" price for such work. Calculations were based upon my own hourly rate of masking: I can do 60-70 images an hour. For now, let's assume you can do 30 images an hour. So $50 sounds very fair. Do bear in mind that it may seem trivial, but our last employee was averaging $2000 a month (8-10hrs of work/month) however he was doing approx 3x the work in terms of percentage of time the tasks take compared to the start-->finish of the workflow. These tasks are available immediately after you prove yourself with the first 30 images. Payment is quick and instant. As soon as your done then we will review and pay instantly! However, do bear in mind, that any errors or mistakes cost much more than what we're paying you.
