184540 Add Code To html Files

Hi - We are looking for a little script needed to modify several hundred thousand .html files. The script should do this: We need to execute the script from the home directory within our server. The script should go to this directory /home/public_html/new Within the new directory are several hundred thousand html pages. The script should insert a given code on each page. We need the script to echo how many pages were completed. It should be able to run silently in the background. It should also run fast and efficient without draining our resources. Further questions should be sent via PM. Would like to see a DEMO prior to payment. Thanks
