DIV Scrolling Effect with Fade

Hi, I need the code (DHTML+javascript) to creare a scrolling DIV with a fade effect. See the attached sample: here you can see a DIV and a link to hide/show it. While now it hides/shows correctly, I'd like to hide/show it with a visual effect (i.e. a fade) as well as a scrolling effect. For example, when it needs to be showed, it shouldn't be showed at once, but with a growing effect (i.e. the height starts from 0 and increases) and a fade-in effect; when it needs to be hidden, it shouldn't be hidden at once, but the height decreases and a fade-out effect.
