Hi, I need a string search object which has routine to search for a given string match in a given string. For example, Source string to analyse for the search string(as below) = "This is a long text - possibly unicode! This test blah blah blah blah I have won 253 projects" string to search = "I have won K projects" Now if the string are given as paramenters to a routine, the routine should return saying whether it found the search string in the source string or not. Note: Here "K" should be construed as any number when performing the search. Example:- when the above is given as input to the routine, the routine should not search of "K" as such but consider it as any number - so it should search for "I have won 1 project" or "I have won 99 projects" This looks like a straight CString find method. But CString find method cannot do generic search like the above - i.e., it has no capability to replace K as a number and search the source string. Remember, the search string can have many variations- For example; Search string can be - 1. "I have won K projects" 2. "I have been paid $K so far" The only trick is to somehow search for a string in the source string just by construing the K as any number instead of just K. The routine needs to be written in Visual C++. Can use MFC/STL classes. regards.
