I need a program to issue google search request programmatically and tabulate three pieces of information from each search into either Excel file or ACCESS database table.

This is used to monitor all interested search terms regularly.

Actually I don't want the 'typical' search results that we know of. I only want two pieces of information. The first is 'how many result pages'. And the second is the first result link. The third information is the second result link.

So the program starts with a user choice of Excel file name. User can browse to pick one Excel file. The program then proceed to process record 1 with the data on field 'search term'. The result will then fill up that record.

After one record is done, the program loops on to process the second search term until a blank record is reached.

The program should be intelligent enough to know that if a record is filled with information and date-time-stamped (onto last field), this record should be omitted and proceed to next. By acting this way the user can resume an un-finisihed search analysis without having to restart from beginning.

This is an extremely simple program for those who knows how to do it. I want the program to be written in C++ (both Borland and Microsoft compiler are Okay).
