Research project to collect data on software related companies: The research is specifically for a site I am building which will centralize resources for software developers. The tools will be for finding authors and participants for a Blog, Newsgroup/message Board, Reports & Papers etc. Subjects for repository are about how tro sell more and how to market in the US and how to manage a software development company. How to be productive and competitive. I wish to contact as many of the top software development tools providers and have them participate in blog and discussion. The idea is to have a single place for programmers to find information on running their business both from a technical side as well as a business management. Research is to be for providers of software services, code blocks, dev kits, IDE, tools like Intel, IBM, Toad, ARM, Rational, etc, etc. Vendors of software development products only - not retail software procucts li ke OCR. All platforms like linux, or Mac are included as well as environments like Oracle or RORails. Security, Licensing and installation tools are all fair game. Additionally metrics systems for tracking productivity of sales as well as software developers is included. Format is simple as: Company: Great Tools URL: www . Great [login to view URL] Product: Buz Saw Creator Language or Platform: MS .Net, MS VB6 Email1: Contact Name Email2: Contact Name Only tools and companies which would be be part of the software development business should be included. This is a test and I want to see what this reveals before i compile a comprehensive list.
