Carbon Footprint (in terms of offsetting [savings]) 3. impact to the Environment (either positively through recycling or negatively by not recycling). The above will be based on the following: - Priority: 1. Beverage containers: aluminum cans, plastic bottles. - Secondary importance: 2. Cell phones & 3. Ink Jet Cartridges A> The EPA has a model called WARM (Waste Reduction Model) that is geared toward waste reduction industry and the volumnes or weights are done in the Metric of tons. However, the Model needs to be scaled to individual units or aggregate of units of aluminum cans and plastic bottles over time. 6 months of 100 businesses will equal to .5 Metric Ton of savings to the environment. Where as 1 week for one biz = .00006 Ton B> The second form of the same or different calculator will not probably be based on the WARM model, but can be based on a number of websites or online environmental calculator. This may be a better route to go. The EPA's WARM model should be relatively simple, since the formulas are already there, and it's a matter of a fraction of the metric ton. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
