This project involves the creation of a plug-in that works directly with 3d studio max 5.0 through 8.0 versions. The plug-in enables the computer graphic artists to convert 3D objects and scenes into vector outlines that will drive an analog output card (12-bit d/a) in real time and also export/save to a certain file format. I have the file formats for 3d studio and for our export requirement.

The sdk and source for 3d studio are available to build the program. I have software drivers to access the hardware also. As a work around, we would need to create a virtual vector monitor in Windows to view the XYZ and RGB color outputs.

This is just a plug-in designed only to drive hardware in real-time and export the file to our vector file format.
