Create a website where the first 1 million number of people will receive a coupon via postal mail. The design is very simple but the solution must be extremely robust.
Users will go to a web page, enter their information and then be informed whether they are amongst the first to provide their information. There also needs to be a process for eliminated under-age entrants and those who aren't within the geographical boundries of the sweepstakes.
In your response I need to see your understanding of this project , what's expected and what technology you plan to use. I would like to use SQL 2005 and ASP.NET but am open to suggestions.
Would also like to be able to do some load testing before the site goes live and owuld like to know your experience with tools to do this.
We will supply image files. The site will consist of about 6 pages of mostly static information. We would also like to be able to do some reporting as far as site statistics and entrants
