Website Redesign

This is a request for the re-coding of [login to view URL] into a much faster loading and more compatible format. Preferably Adobe Flash, or I am not sure how far Ajax can go these days. The current site was designed in Apple's iWeb and uses different PNG images on all pages and therefore loads very slowly and is incompatible with several browsers. I would like the site to be re-coded for speed and compatibility with a few enhancements that are requested in the deliverables section below. The designer who accepts this project is not held to an exact replica, but something similar in style is requested. If the web designer accepting this project and uses Adobe Flash, light animation during stages of page loading, or button hovering would be a plus. You are given a little bit of a creative license on this. I am also open to any suggestions. Please provide examples of previous work if available. ## Deliverables 1) A faster loading, cross-browser compatible website re-design. The design must be compatible in Internet Explorer 6 and 7, Safari 2, Firefox 2, and Opera 9. 2) All current functions of the web page must still be included and functional. 3) Content must be fairly easily updated. Photos must be able to be interchanged or added. Music must be able to be added. Photos must be able to be added. I currently only have a way / enough visible space to change content, not add content. The coder or designer could possibly use album page numbers or other methods of being able to add additional content 4) Enhancements: a. An email newsletter signup available to visitors b. Photos in the photo section, when clicked on must be able to expand to approximately the page width & height. (similar to lightbox 2) c. Light yet professional/functional animation as described above if Ajax or Flash is used. [login to view URL] is a good example for what level of animation I mean by light animation. d. Ability to add content as described above. 5) One of the two attached logos must be used. Not the exact file per say or even exact colors, but their styles. ## Platform Firefox 2, IE 6 & 7, Safari, Opera 9.
