jsp 2.1 jsf - netbeans web app training

I'm in the process of developing my first java web app. I've developed apps using PHP and MySQL before, as well as some small desktop apps in Java and C#, and written web pages in HTML. I need someone to work with me to develop the app and to answer my questions about it. The Java web app I'm looking for is simple - I just need it to support 4 pages. Page 1 - a login page that queries the JavaDB for authentication Page 2 - user input page that stores the data in the JavaDB Page 3 - user input page that stores the data in the Java DB and associates it with data from page 2. Option to ask user if more inputs are available and if so reload the page and process again. Page 4 - perform a mathematical calculation based on the data input and display the results to the user. I have already created a Web Application project using NetBeans and would like to use this as a base. I am completely open to suggestions for using an alternate framework/toolkit/IDE and would appreciate recommendations in that regard. The only requirement I have is that the suggestions be Java based. I expect the app needs to use beans of some sort, either Managed beans or Enterprise beans, and that's where I start running into difficulty as I've never used them before. The person that accepts this project must be able to explain to me why they choose one technology over another.
