DevEdit File Uploader Crash w/ IE 7 (2)

CONTEXT DevEdit is an HTML editor written in PHP, similar to TinyMCE. We use it as part of a custom CMS. The editor features an integrated file uploader, part of which is causing IE 7 to crash. DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM Internet Explorer 7 crashes when either clicking on the "More Files.." or "Go" button on the upload Image/Media dialog box. The crash seems to happen on most computers running IE 7.0.6000.16890 on both XP and Vista. We tried running IE with all add-ons disabled, but the crash still occurs. The error code is 0xC0000005 (and sometimes 0xC00000FD). Here is a testing link that isolates the problem: (We will PM) We have one computer running IE 7.00.5730.13 on XP. The crash does not occur on this machine. IE 8 seems to be unaffected, however, it does report a Javascript error. We are looking to fix the existing file uploader component code, or replace it with something that has the same functionality and doesn’t change the framework so that no changes are needed to our CMS.
