Real Estate IDX / RETS data feed for WordPress website We are seeking a developer / programmer who is familiar with real estate websites and puling IDX feeds via the RETS Connector by MarketLinks (Retsconnector DOT com). We located in Toronto, Canada - our local MLS is the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB). • The real estate listings will be displayed within a WordPress them - we require design with WordPress theme development. The programming of the IDX info will have to be hard coded in the theme or incorporated through the development of a separate WordPress plugin. The programming or plugin would automatically update listing data and images on a daily or more frequent basis using a cron job. • The IDX data will need to be captured within a MySQl database for display within the WordPress theme and allow for multiple search opportunities. Users should be able to complete a basic or advanced search and filter listings based on: number of bedroom, number of baths, town/city, MLS#, postal code and price range. Search results will be plotted on a Google map and allow for switching between satellite, hybrid and map views. The search results should also give the end user the option to view the property and surrounding neighborhood through Google Street view, and get directions to the property. • Articals would be featured from article page and rotating on the main page. • GTA listings should become as separate posts updated thought the IDX. • Capture the location of the user in Ontario and feature properties within thier area. If outside of Ontario then feature properties in Toronto • we will also require the ability to feature certain listings on the homepage of the website as well as homes that have upcoming open houses. • website users will also have the ability to login to the website and save searches and properties of interest AND Bid. Bids will be e mailed to our mail box. We looking for someone who is in Toronto and knows about TREB Restrictions. Please provide examples of Real Estate IDX based websites developed and references / experience. Do not bid if you have not created one yet. Note - 5%-15% bonus will be given to successful bidder after completion of the project
