PHP Troubleshooting for Joomla/Virteumart Online Store

My site runs on Joomla, and my shop is powered by VirtueMart. Almost everything is working properly, but I'm having one problem with it. I'm using 2 different types of templates - one for the main site, and one for the [login to view URL] problem is occuring when a person puts an item in the cart, then goes to check-out. They are required to register on the site by filling out the form that comes up when selecting the radio button "New? Please Provide Your Billing Information". Once you fill out the information and hit the "Send Registration" button, you are redirected to [login to view URL] which is using the main site's template, so it screws up the layout.
