We need a way to read from and write to iButtons using a PocketPC device, especially a DS1977 password-protected iButton. Information on the iButton can be found at www.ibutton.com. We do not want the Palm readers that are available nor the Opus for the PocketPC. We are looking for another way you may be able to innovate or engineer. If possible we need software to use this hardware in the form of a library or an example, preferably in a higher language like C#.NET. Thank you. NEW EDIT: We have found a 22pin to DB9 connector, now we only need to know if that will work with existing iButton adapters and software like the OneWireAPI on [login to view URL] but for a mobile device. (we will only be using COM1 in that case)

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
