Amazon Product Advertising API help needed (PHP)

Hi! :-) We need some help with using the Amazon Product Advertising API. We are experiencing some difficulty with maintaining the same category hierarchy and search results as on [login to view URL] website. We used this table ([login to view URL]) to get root category IDs and noticed that many categories have the same NodeID (for example, Electronics, PCHardware, Photo, Toys, VideoGames have the same ID 493964) while on [login to view URL] they exist as separate "departments" and show different children categories and search results. Another NodeID 1079730 for category "Watches" reported as invalid by the API so we can't get anything from that category. Particularly, we need an ability to get children categories and search products in these categories: Amazon Instant Video Apps for Android Baby Cell Phones and Acccessories Clothing and Accessories Computers Furniture Gift Cards Movies and TV Pet Supplies Sports and Outdoors Toys & Games Video Games Watches You have to provide us clear developer instructions on how this problem could be solved as well as PHP code example demonstrating getting children categories and performing item search by keywords in these categories based on your solution. We need children categories returned and item search to be as close as possible to [login to view URL] results.
