Hi there, The requirements are quite clear and straightforward to implement. Extension will traverse the dom on each page and look for US phone numbers with the formats you've listed. If it finds any it'll attach a phone icon right beside the number. In addition, if the highlighted text is a phone number the extension will add 2 options to context menu; call and save. Clicking on phone icon and selecting call option triggers the same action, a callback. For that, the extension will send a GET request to your VOIP server which in return call the extension user. Upon answering that'll trigger the call to the number on page. I have worked with Twilio a couple of times so not a totaly stranger to the concepts but I'm not an expert in telephony so let me know if I'm missing anything with this flow. Save option in the context menu will allow the user to add that number, along with other details like address, to user's list. That list will be available in a compact modal layer which would be activated by clicking on the extension icon. User will be able to manage(CRUD), import/export his list and make calls in the same area, a compact management panel. If you don't have a preference I'm planning to start with the Chrome extension first. First extension will take 10 days to complete and 15 days to get them both ready, thanks.

Hello: I can make that extension for you. It's actually easy to look up a phone number in Chrome. Regex pattern match with scoring. For the GET request, how do you authenticate? Shared secret? Also does your VOIP integration support the voice resources from the browser, or does that need to be done with the extension?

Hello, I've done an extension with similar, but smaller, functionality. Right-clicking on a number caused opening of context menu. There you could choose to call the number. On successful callback, a notification would display. I've done around 25 extensions for Chrome and Firefox for clients so far. Your requirements are all doable. As I understand, the callback happens on the server, and the extension just sends the needed data to the server - it does not deal with the VoIP itself? Would be happy to discuss details.
