Project Title: Build an E-commerce website Overview: I am looking for a skilled web developer to build an E-commerce website within a tight deadline of less than 1 month. The website will serve as an online platform for selling products, in this case, bespoke jewellery. Requirements: - The website should have an attractive and user-friendly design to enhance the shopping experience for customers, on a global platform with auto live currency calculations. - It should include essential features such as product listings, shopping cart, and secure payment gateways. - Integration with popular E-commerce platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce is preferred. - The website should have responsive design to ensure compatibility across different devices. - SEO optimization is required to improve visibility and organic traffic. - Integration with social media platforms and email marketing tools would be a plus. Skills and Experience: - Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience in building E-commerce websites using platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce. - Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques. - Familiarity with responsive design principles. - Ability to integrate third-party tools and plugins. - Excellent communication skills (in English), and ability to work within tight deadlines. Once the site is complete and tested and properly and satisfactorily handed over for my administrative input, I expect to be able to efficiently edit and add products to the site and control inventory and particularly be able to upload photos to a very high level of clarity. 'Mailchimp' also needs to be incorporated into the site for the weekly newsletter and promotions etc. The current website is almost exactly what we need albeit with many mistakes and a slow load speed.
