FBA Label Project Fahmah Jackson

Summary: Write php code that will allow a wordpress based web (HTML) page to format and print an inventory label to a Zebra LP2844 thermal printer. Rules of Behavior: The code should be able to work from any browser (CHROME, MOZILLA, EXPLORER, etc). Any dialog boxes must be modal and/or have a three second fade out (controllable). Printing should be able to happen without invoking additional system dialogs. The print job should immediately sent to the printer. There should be no additional prompting or modal box displays of the progress on a normally acting print request. In other words, once the user clicks the \"start printing\" button on the quantity to print dialog box, the program should wait 3 seconds after job submission and then remove the modal dialog box. An error dialog will be displayed if the printer is offline or otherwise unavailable to print. Developer access: The developer will utilize the printing features through a single call to a php function. There is an array of attributes passed into the function and contains all the variables needed to build a proper label. A typical call to the function would like this: $return = print_fba_label($atts); The $return will be an array indicating success or failure. It will be structured like this: $return[\'status\'] = \"success\"; or $return[\'status\'] = \"error\"; $return[\'message\'] = \"Error message or other message here\"; Scope: The php file that is created from the specifications described in this project should be a self contained module. The module is will be \"included\" by a higher level plug-in that is the Fahmah Jackson system. Fahmah Jackson will invoke the function in various places in already existing code.
