Joomla table CSS/template CSS conflict fix

We are trying to add a table into a content page in a Joomla 1.0 site but the stylesheet for the table being added and the stylesheet for the Joomla template conflict. This is throwing out the display of the menus and the background of the site.
We need a Joomla CSS expert to review the stylesheets for the template and table and advise us of the appropriate changes to them to fix this conflict. This should be a basic fix for a Joomla expert.
The Joomla template is ja_mageia
We will pay by GAF once we implement your fix in our content pages in our site. We will supply the HTML table code and the stylesheet files but not provide ftp access to the site. Maximum budget $30.
