I would like a Calendar to track staff holidays within the company, maybe a Web Calendar / spreadsheet or Google spreadsheet that is based on the annual calendar for tracking how many people are on holiday on any particular day. There are a 300 people with unique ID this can bring up their name. A maximum of 20 people can be off work on any one day. The operator woudl select a day i.e. 18th May 2016, this would list people already on holiday and allow operator to enter a new ID (Name), up to a maximum of 20.
Parameters:
approx 200+ employees plus drivers/management
maximum 28 days holiday annually inc bank holidays
year start = employee start date
only 10% employees may be off at any one time
only one supervisor may be off at any one time
only one driver may be off at any one time
there are no holidays allowed for any employee for 4 weeks following the second week of december
employees are identified by employee number (easier than name)
holidays displayed in a calendar format for ease of viewing
visual indicators may be beneficial to differentiate types of employees etc (Blue=Staff Red=Manager)
