Please explain the issue you are facing? By wrong prediction, do you mean FP or FN, or you mean generally it isn't capturing the license plates because of picture quality? What type of CNN model are you using? If you are using something fast like YOLOv8, and have trained it on less data, this might be a case. We can certainly debug and diagnose where the CNN is lacking behind, whether it is overfiting to certain type of data and not generalizing well OR it is loose and not making accurate predictions. It might be losing gradients or getting saturated faster. The first thing is to know the bias. DATA: The distribution of the data for training and testing should be same.
