DEEPPAVLOV DICTIONARY CHATBOT

Overview The intention of the Deeppavlov Dictionary Chatbot project is to build a Deeppavlov Chatbot, which will identify specific words in user utterances and then reply with statements and questions specific to those user utterances. Purpose The purpose of this Deeppavlov Dictionary Chatbot project is to build a Deepavlov chatbot that responds with specific statements and questions in response to specific words or short phrases identified in user utterances. The specific words and their corresponding statements and questions will be supplied in the form of a lookup table, such as a json file or database table. So for example, when the Deeppavlov Dictionary Chatbot identifies the word ‘crater’ it will respond with the statement ‘This suggests that you are in a situation where you can go a bit deeper into the practical aspects so that you can understand the impact that they might have.’ .and would provide the questions… ‘Where might you go a bit deeper into the practical aspects of the situation?’ ’Where can you understand the impact that the practical aspects might have?’ ’What might be the impact of the practical aspects of the situation?’ The word ‘cyclist’ would have a response like ‘This suggests that you have the opportunity to use your energy and powerful self-motivation to keep a number of commitments in balance and still make progress.’ and would provide the questions… ‘when might you use your energy to keep a number of commitments in balance?’ ’When might you use your powerful self motivation to make progress?’ ’How can you balance your commitments and still make progress?’ The word ‘ladder’ would have a reply like ‘In this situation, you have the ability to use a particular series of steps to achieve a specific ambition so that you can continue to perform at a higher level.’ And would provide the questions… ‘How might you use a particular series of steps to achieve a specific ambition?’ ’what steps can you take to continue to perform at a higher level?’ ’How can you continue to perform at a higher level by using a particular series of steps?‘ Objectives The objectives of this Deeppavlov Dictionary Chatbot project are to: Build a Deepavlov chatbot that will provide a natural conversation with the user with all the usual greetings, goodbyes, human pauses, ums and ahs, but also identify specific words or short phrases from a supplied lookup dictionary and respond with specific statements and questions directly mapped to the specific words or short phrases. Build a Deepavlov chatbot that will perform these functions on a variety of platforms such as Alexa, Google Assistant. Telegram and on a web page. To structure the Deeppavlov chatbot so that it can continue to be developed and evolved.
