Help us to write a python code to listen another web server using https

We are trying to set up a connection with another server through API. They will be sending data in XML format everyday. We need to write a python code to listen the incoming data from that other server. We already have SSL certificate and server ready. We also wrote a code to send a custom XML file to our server. We already have a listener code working perfectly fine with http. The issue is that we need to make it work with https not only for http. Please find attached the code we use (1) to listen and (2) to send the XML data for testing purposes. We also welcome alternative solutions that may work in other programming languages such as Node.js Thank you in advance
