Write a GIS ArcPython script to calculate fields and join data to another featureclass

Let's consider your proposal along with some complexities: Assumption: I found that there are some station point that are on the same lat-long, I mean on the same point there are multiple points but with different TPCP and MNTM values Cases for both TPCP and MNTM =================================================== Case-1: Multiple centers> just average them Case-2: No centers> just average the nearest threes and assign it to the county--But how will you want to find the nearest 3 since on the exact same point there are 30(maybe more to come) points as you see in the Assumption Case-3: Missing values (9999)> just like the case -2 Case-4: What about the <Null>? There are some (~1000) of the centers are on the water or at least not inside any county- are they correct? What about the points that seem to be result of error in reading- I mean on point is only 1-3meter apart from another? And finally I think you just need the county layer just added TPCP and MNTM field populated with correct value? I will update you soon if need on guidance.

Hello, Do you have a feature class for counties as well? In this case I would write a script that would 1. create a table with 3 nearest sites using arcpy.GenerateNearTable_analysis 2. calculate the average values and update the sites with them 3. join the counties with sites using arcpy.SpatialJoin_analysis with JOIN_ONE_TO_ONE and the merge rule set to mean 4. repeat steps 1-2 but for the counties. What type of ArcGIS license do you have? Thanks
