Business Development Assistant

Job / Tasks Currently, the role revolves around prospecting and sales in the Business Development Assistant role. You will work on prospecting via inbound leads, prior clients for repeat business, referrals, proposal work, and further direct marketing. Prospecting Roles: - Proposal Writer: Work with a BD Director to submit RFP's and submit proposals for work we match in our needs analysis - Direct Sales / Email marketing: Prospect via qualified leads to engage in needs analysis and further marketing - Telesales: Prospect for contacts and companies that match the needs analysis of our client firms You will be marketing our company and assisting firms that have a strong need for marketing automation, CRM integration, IT consultants, inbound marketing services, and outsourced staff. After training and analysis, you will focus on a primary industry and services dependent on your competitive knowledge, and abilities. Education and Work Experience The ideal candidates will have: - Telesales and email marketing experience - Several years of prospecting, qualifying and direct marketing experience - Inside sales experience in technology, software, or services Typical educational backgrounds include those with management degrees, communications, or marketing education at the undergraduate and graduate level. Work experience and knowledge of prospecting or technology will take precedence over academic credentials. Candidates for this position should have some CRM/Marketing automation experience: Hubspot, Zoho, Salesforce, Pardot, Marketo, Act-On, etc. The ideal candidate will have additional external certifications of continuing education, marketing training, sales certifications at prior firms or via a MOOC, or certification on marketing/sales platforms.
