Dear all, I need a bash script to run a curl command every 500 milliseconds. Please note that this script should run curl command exactly every 500 milliseconds and curl running time, transfer time and response time must be in same interval.(500 milliseconds) For example first curl command must be executed in the beginning of a second and next command must be executed exactly 500 milliseconds later whether first curl command completed or not. Bash scripting or sh scripting both are acceptable (I prefer faster shell) Please note that I use curl command to post data to an API and faster solutions are acceptable too. (Solutions based on Ubuntu OS only and not Windows) Start time and interval must be adjustable. For example maybe I need to change 300 milliseconds to 350 milliseconds in the future. As far as I know fastest language is “GO” for this type of projects. Script (or program) will run on a Ubuntu virtual machine and I don’t have multiple cpu cores and resources are limited.
