Wowza cloud engine latency problem

Hi, Thank you for posting your requirement. My name is Inderjeet and own a small 4 member IT services firm based at Chandigarh,India. We have been working with Wowza related live and VOD streaming for many years now (since 2008). Delay could be because of many reasons. please tell a bit more about your infrastructure, the server resources/specs, network capacity from where you're streaming/publishing and any special Wowza configuration such as transcoder. IoS devices tend to take a bit longer initialy when playing in native player because they cache content, enough to provide a buffer free playback. Please provide details which player is being used. Does it stop or buffer out during the play too or just once when starting (a continous delay of 20-40 seconds)? We can try to check and fix any issues or setup errors/misconfiguration if any and see if it can come down to about 5-7 seconds. It is very unlikely that the encoder is causing this delay but still, will check that too. Let me know how to proceed further. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. HTTPS based URL's, live repeater, Wowza load balancing using edge origin and relays, can serve millions customers using our special technique, you can't server 1000's concurrent streaming users by only using Wowza.
