I am looking for an experienced asterisk engineering to help me link our offshore call center and onshore phone systems. Our offshore center currently uses GoAutoDial as a dialler software. They are behind a firewall. On shore, I have RasPbx (Free PBX running on a raspberrry Pi) setup on a LAN with access to a 10x10 internet connection. This system is configured with various trunks and outbound routes and only ever handles 8 lines at once. If I configure and extension and connect to this phone system locally I can dial out through these trunks so they are working the way I want. I want to be able to create an IAX trunk on this RasPi that our offshore call center can use to dial through. I have successfully created a Raspbx to Raspbx trunk that allows one phone system to dial out through the other over the internet however despite my best efforts I cannot get it working with GoAutoDial to Raspbx as the trunk will not register. If you think you can assist please get in contact with me. I am not set on using IAX trunking however security is very important and SIP gets annoying when dealing with firewalls. I will not be able to provide you direct access to out phone systems because of security, I am looking for someone to assist me with the config and provide me the trunk setup details.

Hi, I have a similar setup between Vicidial and Freepbx. and I perfectly understand the scenario. NB (Goautodial uses Vicidial). It also took me some time to figure out how to get the trunks working. but I now have calls going through both ways. I would love to share my steps with you and I'm confident this will solve your problem I have a background in Network adminstration and Have been working with asterisk based systems professionally for over a year. Hello Im Sourish, I'm an asterisk, vicidial and linux expert. I have installed more than 50 vicidial servers in last 3 years. I run a company which provides hosted asterisk and vicidial services globally. I have already done a similar configuration with goautodial and freepbx, but i have done it using SIP. If you want i can send you the sip config details and the network diagram. I have been successful in implementing it and you can use the configs too.
