I have an Alcatel PaBX configured as a SIP server. I have configured SIP phones on the local area network to connect to the PaBX using the PaBX internal ip address. The different phones on the LAN can connect and talk to each other. I have used the following command to publish my PaBX on the internet: >> ip nat inside source static <internal PaBX ip> <public IP> I have taken one SIP phone home behind my home fibre optics router and changed the SIP server settings on that phone to point to the PaBX public IP. The connection between that SIP phone and my PaBX is well established and when I call other phones on the PaBX LAN. The phone rings and the call is connected, but there is no sound on both end. I am definitely missing something and I would like assistance/support on this issue.
