We are a small, and growing, fintech MNC with about 23 Teammates across the globe (US, Liberia, India, Cameroon, Kuwait, Pakistan). Each of us on our Team are very entrepreneurial and hardworking. Our compensation is an hourly stipend and our ‘real’ money comes from % of company profits fairly shared among the team based on clear metrics. We’ve recently (June 14th) signed a contract to deliver one of our product lines to a large wireless carrier in Africa. This is a huge accomplishment by the Team and also a stepping stone to delivering our products throughout Africa, Latin America, and parts of Asia. Our focus is developing and marketing technology providing value to our customers and recurring-revenue to the company. High margin, high volume, long-term, recurring-revenue is the goal of this venture. We need a passionate, extremely organized and structured project manager to track and report our various projects - both internal and external. Passion, experience, professionalism, and ownership are the keywords here. You will be responsible for managing, not doing, the projects. Knowledge of ClickUp, the project mgmt tool we use, will be helpful. We work asynchronous hours - whenever is best for each of us and our teammates - all towards results. Depending on the position, there are certain mandatory hours & meetings. Other than that we are able to work 24x7, are generally available 24x7, and log/track our hours using Monitask. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PHP, Laravel, Java, and MVS, as well as experience with web application development, database design, and object-oriented programming. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications, as well as working with other members of the team to deliver high-quality products. Responsibilities: · Be able to write clean, reusable standards based code · Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new development as required · Document features, technical specifications infrastructure Responsibilities · Work cross-functionally to convert business needs into technical specifications · Work side by side with partners, colleagues and teams on challenging problems Must Have: · 3-7 years of experience in Full Stack Development · Expertise in front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap) · Possess good knowledge in PHP, MySQL, OOPs concepts, MVC design principles · Frameworks like Laravel framework knowledge · Should have REST APIs, Microservices development experience · Be able to integrate third-party APIs · Experience of working on fintech websites and integration of Payment Gateways · Be able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes · Have knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments · Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas · Good communication Should be able to communicate with clients · Should be able to work in a high-pressure environment · Fintech XP is a plus .
