I require an ActiveX plugin that has the capabilities of viewing TIFF and JPG images within Internet Explorer. This plug will be used for an application that wraps it's own controls around the Internet Explorer Engine. This plugin would be similar to AlternaTIFF from , but would also need view JPG iamges as well. Unlike the AlternaTIFF plugin, I do not require any editing / saving features. Viewing images larger than the browser window should automatically resize it to the size of the window with an option to view the full size image, much the same way IE does it nativly. Here is my solution. If later we have an ActiveX security problem (and we will and we already have it and more so with IE 7.0) where ActiveX will not open a TCP/IP link to the camera because the ActiveX component was downloaded from Dynotrack (different IP), then I will add a **RELAY** software in side the **relay** is a tiny piece of code that does the following. Then you log onto Dynotracks, Dynotrack would look up the camera's IP address and port. From there is would form the HTML web page to that the ActiveX / OCX code that going to be downloaded from the camera. However, that ActiveX/OCX component is NOT in the camera. I have a wireless linksys WVC54GC camera, which displays video on a page created by the camera. The page is essentially a bunch of linksys junk with an activex control in the center that displays the image.
